Put a pull out trash cabinet at the very end of your outdoor kitchen’s layout. |
You will be surprised how popular a pull out trash cabinet is in your outdoor kitchen. A good place to put the trash cabinet is at the very end of a run of cabinets, nearest to your guests. That way people can throw trash away without having to walk through the outdoor kitchen preparation area. As the host or hostess of a party, it is much easier to keep things clean when your guests can throw away their own trash without having to search for a trash can.
Another reason for leaving the trash at the end of the outdoor cabinet run is that you can leave it open while you are preparing food. As a matter of proper food handling, being able to drop packaging from raw meats directly in the trash limits cross contamination issues. Plus, it helps keeps your work area tidy and organized.
Other pull out accessories are available in addition to the pull out trash can. We offer a pull out tray that holds a 25 pound LP gas tank for your grill or side burner. This makes it easier to remove the tank for refilling.
Also, we provide a pull out tray option for cabinets. A pull out tray can let you reach items in the back of cabinets easier.
For pull out accessories, we do use full extension stainless steel drawer slides. For normal drawer cabinets, we prefer our maintenance free, hardware free drawer slide. But the full extension stainless steel drawer slide lets accessories come out of the outdoor cabinet completely.
